چکیده

Abstract Larval metamorphosis, the planktonic larvae transited into benthic juveniles, is a short important phase for mollusks. However, information about mechanism of its larval settlement and metamorphosis Pinctada fucata martensii still limited. In this study, metabolomic transcriptomic approaches were applied to assess metabolic transcript changes among different stage groups P. f. understand mechanism. metabolomics assay, 71 pathways significantly metabolites (SDM), including phenylalanine, tyrosine, tryptophan biosynthesis; ubiquinone other terpenoid–quinone phenylalanine metabolism d -glutamine D-glutamate metabolism, identified between eyed spat. Fifty-seven SDMs, metabolism; arachidonic acid biosynthesis steroid hormone biosynthesis, spat juvenile. The transcriptome analysis showed that 4561 915 differentially expressed genes (DEG) stages juvenile stages, respectively. pathway enrichment in DEGs associated with neurotransmitter cholinergic, glutamatergic, GABAergic, serotonergic synapse enriched stages. This study first work involving integrated analyses identify key molecular mechanisms underlying martensii.

The pearl oyster Pinctada fucata martensii genome and multi-omic analyses provide insights into biomineralization

Nacre, the iridescent material found in pearls and shells of molluscs, is formed through an extraordinary process of matrix-assisted biomineralization. Despite recent advances, many aspects of the biomineralization process and its evolutionary origin remain unknown. The pearl oyster Pinctada fucata martensii is a well-known master of biomineralization, but the molecular mechanisms that underlie...

Effect of maternal exposure to tributyltin on reproduction of the pearl oyster (Pinctada fucata martensii).

We examined the effect of tributyltin (TBT) on reproduction of the pearl oyster (Pinctada fucata martensii). In a maternal exposure test, five female pearl oysters were exposed to TBT at measured concentrations of 0 (control), 0.092, or 0.191 microg/L at 25 degreesC for one week, and the embryo developmental success (the ratio of normal D-larvae to all larvae) was measured. The embryo developme...

Genetic linkage map of the pearl oyster, Pinctada martensii (Dunker)

Genetic linkage maps were constructed with ampli¢ed fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) and microsatellite markers for the pearl oyster, Pinctada martensii (Dunker), the main bivalve used for marine pearl production in Asia. Twenty-four AFLP and 84 microsatellite primer pairs were used for linkage analysis in a full-sib family with two parents and 78 o¡spring. Of the 2357 AFLP fragments generat...

Cloning and expression pattern of a Smad3 homolog from the pearl oyster, Pinctada fucata.

Several transforming growth factor beta (TGFbeta) superfamily members have been identified from mollusks. The significant effects of TGFbeta signaling pathways on bone formation in vertebrates give clues to the signal transduction mechanism and how the shell of oysters is formed. However, what kinds of mediators are involved in the molluscan TGFbeta signaling pathways, and how they play their f...

Seawater Acidification and Elevated Temperature Affect Gene Expression Patterns of the Pearl Oyster Pinctada fucata

Oceanic uptake of anthropogenic carbon dioxide results in decrease in seawater pH and increase in temperature. In this study, we demonstrated the synergistic effects of elevated seawater temperature and declined seawater pH on gene expression patterns of aspein, calmodulin, nacrein, she-7-F10 and hsp70 in the pearl oyster Pinctada fucata. Under 'business-as-usual' scenarios, four treatments wer...
